I remember 1996, riding in my car and listening to "Millenium." I got it, it touched me, it got me like no other. I was riding in the car with someone, and I was driving. I didn't even tell the person I was riding with how I got it, afraid they wouldn't relate. I was 16 at the time, all I could hear was the true meaning of the lyrics.
I knew at that moment, I would be an Outkast fan for life. Not just a fan, but a friend, a confidant.
I get it, I've always got it.
You sang before I could sing it.
And I THANK YOU for that generosity.
THANK YOU for helping me.
Because without the music, I don't know where I would be...
